Merchant of Record
TypeSteward purchases are sold and processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, invoices, statutory withdrawal requests and refunds under its buyer terms and refund policy.
Mandatory rights
Your mandatory consumer rights always apply. Depending on your country and whether delivery or use of the digital product has begun with your consent, you may have a statutory withdrawal period or rights where the product is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Other refund requests
Outside mandatory rights, transactions are generally non-refundable. Paddle may review a request made within 14 days of purchase and grant a full or partial refund at its discretion. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.
Technical problems
Please contact hello@typesteward.app first if a persistent technical issue prevents TypeSteward from working as described. We will try to resolve the problem. If it cannot be resolved, Paddle can assess the refund request under applicable law and its policy.
How to request a refund
Use the support or transaction-management link in your Paddle receipt, or visit paddle.net and choose the available withdrawal or refund option. Paddle normally returns an approved refund to the original payment method where possible.
Effect of a refund
Once a purchase is refunded, the permission to use its TypeSteward licence ends. Because the application and licence check are offline, no remote deactivation is performed. Future download delivery, licence reissue, updates and support for the refunded purchase will stop.
Applicable Paddle policy
The full current rules, country-specific withdrawal periods and request process are set out in Paddle’s Refund Policy. If this summary conflicts with Paddle’s buyer terms or mandatory law, those terms and laws take precedence.
